Robert "r0bert" K. With the date of the Dolby Axon Challenge approaching, here are some infomation about the tournament, which players and E-Sport-Fans might find useful.
The tournament will take place on the 7th (saturday) and 8th (sunday) of August 2010. It will consist of two parts: On saturday, the fist part of the tournament will be held in a "Best-of-1" mode up until the round of the last sixteen (eighth final). On sunday, the mode will be "Best-of-3" for the remaining eight participants. The tournament itself will be held in single elimination mode, i.e. no loser bracket!
Players will have to check-in on saturday between 12:00 and 14:00 CEST (read: German time) via the tournament website. Afterwards, the grid will be generated randomly. Playing times can be viewed via the tournament tree but might be object to change depending on the brodcasters' needs.
The tournament will be covered by the Warcraft-3-Team of Gamesports - check out their website for additional information regarding broadcasting schedules and URLs.
